This program is intended to improve homes, eliminate code violations, and improve energy efficiency. The program provides technical assistance in determining the repairs that need to be made to the property. A rehabilitation specialist will work with the property owner to determine the best way to improve a property and assist in hiring of contractors to do the work. The program will provide a loan of up to $50,000 per home. If the homeowner stays in the household for 10 years then the loan amount becomes a grant and does not need to be repaid.

Roof Replacement Replacement of Siding Insulation Walls/Ceilings
Limitations – The program will not assist rental properties, commercial properties, or industrial properties. The program funds cannot be used for garages, landscaping, driveways, movable appliances, or cosmetic improvements such as replacing carpeting. The program will not replace items that are in serviceable condition.
